When I was a little girl, I played with Barbies, and I wanted to be a Jedi. I loved to go swimming but was afraid that Jaws was in the pool, was not athletic at all but loved baseball. And, the biggest love of my life was the rock band KISS. There wasn’t one simple checkbox to describe me. I was a misfit.
